Case Converter
Switch text to UPPER, lower, Title, Sentence case or a URL slug.
How to use the case converter
Paste your text into the box and choose the style you need. The text is changed in place, so you can try several styles one after another. When it looks right, press Copy text and paste it wherever you need it.
The available styles
UPPER CASE turns every letter into a capital, which is useful for headings, labels and short notices. lower case does the opposite and is handy for fixing text that was typed with Caps Lock left on. Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word, a common style for headings, book titles and product names. Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence, which is how normal paragraphs are written.
aLtErNaTe case mixes small and capital letters, mostly used for fun in chats and memes. url-slug turns a title into a short, lowercase web address with hyphens instead of spaces, for example βMy First Blog Post!β becomes my-first-blog-post. Bloggers use slugs to create clean links that search engines and readers understand.
A note on Title Case
Strict style guides keep short words such as βandβ, βofβ and βtheβ in lowercase unless they start the title. This tool capitalises every word for simplicity, so you may want to adjust a few small words by hand if you follow a specific style guide.

Frequently asked questions
Does the case converter work on non-English text?
Upper and lower case only exist in scripts such as Latin, Greek and Cyrillic. Scripts like Devanagari have no capital letters, so text in Hindi will stay the same, apart from the url-slug option, which removes characters other than English letters and numbers.
Will my formatting be kept?
Line breaks and spacing are kept. Rich formatting such as bold or colours is not, because the box works with plain text.
Can I undo a conversion?
Press Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on a Mac) inside the box to undo, or paste your original text again.
