What you get
The calculator shows your exact age in completed years, months and days, the total number of days you have lived, and how many days are left until your next birthday. Months are counted using the real length of each month, so the result matches what you would get by counting on a calendar.
Where an exact age is needed
Government job notifications, entrance exams and scholarship forms in India often set an age limit “as on” a specific date, such as 1 January or 1 August of the exam year. Entering that date in the second field shows whether you fall within the limit. Parents also use exact age in months to track a baby’s milestones and vaccination schedule.
About leap years
If you were born on 29 February, your birthday falls on that date only in leap years. In other years the calculator treats your next birthday as 1 March, which is the convention used in many countries for legal purposes.
